2010 Lumma Design BMW CLR 500 RS2

Lumma Design and TopCar have unveiled their new body styling program for the BMW 5-Series, Lumma-Design BMW CLR 500 RS2. The package comes with a new front bumper with the integrated LED daytime running lights, a carbon fiber hood, new side skirts, a new rear skirt with an integrated diffuser and a carbon boot lid spoiler.

The Lumma-Design BMW CLR 500 RS2 also comes with a wider fenders and air intakes for better cooling of the brakes. Inside, the interior has been completely redone with the Nappa leather and carbon fiber trim inserts.

2010 Dodge Viper SRT10

At the heart of the 2010 Dodge Viper SRT10 remains the venerable 8.4-liter (510 cu. in.) V-10 engine that produces 600 (450 kW) horsepower and 560 lb.-ft. (760 Nm) of torque. Benchmark performance numbers, including 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds, quarter-mile time in the mid 11-second range and 0-100-0 mph in 11 seconds flat, and a top speed of 202 mph, continue to prove how the serious, race-inspired, street-legal two-seater performs without the apology.

Stopping power is another carefully developed part of the Viper SRT10 equation, with 14-inch brake rotors gripped by the Brembo 44/40 dual-opposing piston calipers in the front and Brembo 42/38 dual-opposing calipers in the rear. This system results in world-class braking performance of 60-0 mph in less than 100 feet.

With the introduction of two new exterior colors–Toxic Orange Pearl Coat and the Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat–Dodge Viper SRT10 is now available in 12 different colors – the most regularly available choices in one model year. And with six stripe options in the new wider configuration, five different interior color combinations, four different wheel choices and three available interior bezels.

 

2011 Ferrari 458 Challenge

Coming just a few months after the 2010 Frankfurt Motor Show unveiling of the Ferrari 458 Italia on which it is based, the Ferrari 458 Challenge introduces a number of the important modifications to adapt it for the competition use.

The direct injection 4497 cc V8 remains strictly in the production tune, with an output of 570 hp at 9,000 rpm. That said, modifications have been made to the gear ratios and calibration of its dual-clutch F1 gearbox to guarantee the higher torque at lower revs. The Ferrari 458 Challenge is also equipped with the E-Diff electronic differential already employed on the road-going version, a first for Ferrari’s track-only cars.

The new Ferrari 458 Challenge also has a specific suspension set-up with solid aluminium bushings, stiffer springs, single-rate dampers, centre-nut 19″ racing rims, larger dimension Pirelli slicks and a ride height lowered by 30mm all round. It is also equipped with the new generation Brembo CCM2 brakes which debuted on the 599XX, Ferrari’s extreme experimental laboratory car, and which are integrated with an ABS system that features two configurations – low grip and high performance for dry surfaces.

2011 TranStar Racing Dagger GT

Each Dagger GT will be carefully hand-made by exceptional, enthusiastic craftsmen. Each car will be custom-made to the owner’s preferences and the desires. You can order: one of three (3) hard-core racing models; a street-legal comfortable-riding sport model, or a soft-riding, luxurious GT-X model that looks and feels like a million-dollar car, but runs like a bat-out-of-hell. We plan to deliver 5 production Daggers in 2011. Each Dagger will be 49-state street-legal if desired by the buyer.

The base MSRP of the Dagger GT-S or “Sport” model is $450,000 plus custom work, if requested. Deliveries are scheduled beginning in the first half of 2011. Production is very limited to maintain exceptional, over-the-top quality and fine craftsmanship.

2010 Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid Concept

Lotus had unveiled the Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid concept at the 80th International Geneva Motor Show. This concept showcases the new developments in the plug-in, range-extended electric propulsion, new electronic technologies to enhance the driver involvement, the adaptability of the Lotus Versatile Vehicle Architecture (VVA) that underpins the Evora 414E Hybrid and a new roof system and interior concept from Lotus Design.

For the Lotus Evora 414E Hybrid, Lotus Engineering has developed a highly efficient, high performance drivetrain system consisting of twin motors each limited to providing 152 kW (207 PS/204 hp) of power and 400 Nm (295 lbft) of torque to each wheel via independent, single speed, reduction and transmissions integrated into a single housing, enabling torque vectoring dynamic control of the vehicle.

The range extended electric drive of the Evora 414E Hybrid consists of the two electric motors driving each of the rear wheels independently via single speed geartrain. Additional range is provided by the Lotus Range Extender engine, an optimized 1.2 liter, three-cylinder engine, providing 35 kW (48 PS/47 hp) of the power at 3,500 rpm via the integrated electrical generator.

2011 Tesla Roadster 2.5

The Tesla Roadster 2.5 features improvements in the design and technology, including a new front fascia, rear diffuser, improved with a seat comfort, sound dampening and an optional large touch screen and navigation system with back-up camera. Improved interior sound reduction techniques, including new front fender liner material, make the cabin even quieter

Prospective customers can see the Tesla Roadster 2.5 at Goodwood or at the London showroom at 49-51 Cheval Place in the Knightsbridge, near Harrod’s. Tesla is now delivering this latest version of the car in all the Tesla markets in Europe, Asia and North America.

2011 JE Design Audi Q7 S-Line

To start with the 3.0-litre standard diesel version produces 233 hp (171 kW). By optimising the engine control unit, JE DESIGN raises this figure to the 285 hp (210 kW). As a result the maximum torque from the compression-ignition engine that increases from 500 to 550 Newton metres and the top speed from 210 to 219 kph. The 2.3-tonne vehicle reaches the 100-kph mark in a mere 8.4 seconds instead of the 9.1 seconds needed by one of the standard version.

The transformation covers the front spoiler corners which then JE DESIGN offers for the Audi Q7 S-Line in pairs, with and without the wide body kit (690 Euro), the twelve-part flared wheel arch kit including the door trim (2699 Euro), and the rear bumper extension with lozenge-shaped double exhaust outlets on the both sides (1798 Euro). The forbidding look facing forward is achieved by the headlight covers (99 Euro). At the rear the spoiler tail unit, which in addition covers the C-pillars (1099 Euro), ensures the required down-force and puts the finishing touch to the uncompromising exterior.
