German luxury car maker BMW today launched the new description of it’s intersect model X6 priced among Rs 78.9 lakh and Rs 93.4 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company which is facing rigid rivalry from rivals Audi and Mercedes said it will add new dealers and increase model variety to keep its leadership situation.
He said the company will boost its dealers to 50 by 2014 from 29 at their across India, while launch its largest dealer here. "We'll prolong to be sustainable leader in India.
Sales are significant, but not at any cost. We don't give reduction to push sales for opposition. With discounts, somebody can gain in short term, but not in the extended term," von Sahr added.
In October, BMW India had fallen at the rear Audi with sales of 790 units as beside the rival's 882 units, while Mercedes had sales of 732 units. For the April-October period this economic, BMW and Audi are tied at the top with 5,174 units each pursue by Mercedes at 3,651 units.
Although the eight-cylinder petrol X6 is accessible for Rs 93.4 lakh, the six-cylinder diesel alternative is priced at Rs 78.9 lakh. The petrol X6 is motorized by a 4,395 cc engine, while the diesel option is run by a 2,993 cc engine.
